Office Saftey Induction
60min Storyline Module - Lidl (2021)

Project background
Office Safety Induction was one of a range of modules that were developed for a large food distribution company. This module was designed for office workers to take them through the basic safety requirements of working in the office head quarters and also in the warehouses.
As you progress through the course, there are a range of activities and interactions to take part in to ensure all workers are aware of the policies in regards to fire safety, slips and trips, manual handling and other areas.

Key goals of the project

The key goals of the project were to:
-
keep the design, branding and interactions consistent with previous modules
-
have diverse ethnic characters throughout the module
-
keep text on screen to a minimum
-
have a progress bar, refresh buttons, closed captions and voice overs all incorporated into the slides

My role
-
I built the entire course based from an initial course developed by another Digital Learning Designer
-
Using the foundations already laied out, I added in triggers and a refresh button, using layers, triggers and the master slide
-
I built out the entire module from the storyboard.
-
Once the basis of the course was built, I developing a range of graphics, characters and interactions to work along with the content, based on the clients branding guidelines and characters that had already been established.
-
Once finalised, I added in voice overs and closed captions to the entire module.
